Perhaps: Botox is approved for use in people with chronic migraines. It also is helpful for people with facial spasms. So it all depends on what the cause of your face pain is. You might want to see a neurologist for a full evaluation.

Maybe if due 2 spasm: If the pain is due to muscle spasm such as with masseteric spasm or cervical dystonia, it is possible that Botox could provide some pain relief as it does with vaginismus.

Usually: Depending on the type of pain you are having, Botox can be an extremely useful aid in pain relief. True toothaches are not relieved by Botox. Facial pain of skeletomuscle origin are relieved by Botox quite well
