Yes: An MRI will give soft tissue details on all of the structures it is imaging. For instance, an ankle MRI will show achilles tendinopathy as well as any pathology in the various tendons around the ankle such as the posterior tibialis, peroneus longus and brevis, flexor hallucis longus, and flexor digitorum longus. It will also be able to detail the condition of the various bones and joints imaged.
