Speak with your doc: A complicated question to answer in todays healthcare world ! costs include the doc, the facility and anesthesia which can vary in total from a few $1000 to $10, 000. An MRI these days runs around $500 cash. Good questions to get answered up front before going forward with anything so there are no surprises. And don't forget therapy after !

It depends...: Do you have insurance coverage? If your doctor is a contracted member of your insurance plan, and your deductible and co-insurance level is reasonable, the cost should be nominal. Ask your doctor's office staff the check your benefits and provide you with an out-of-pocket estimate. This should be pretty close to your exact cost.
