Face Jaw pain: Several possibilities. One possible cause could be temporal mandibular joint inflammation (TMJ). This is the upper jaw joint and perhaps eating, singing, or talking irritates this joint. Try avoiding chewing hard food, gum, and over stretching the joint. This may be a dental or medical problem. Anti-inflammatories may help e.g. Alleve. A dental mouth guard may help if you are grinding teeth.
