Tmj?: Ear pain is a common symptom of tmj. If painful with chewing it may be more of a jaw joint problem than the actual ear. Many people complain of pain similar to an ice pick. Throat problems can also cause ear pain. See your doc if it does not resolve soon.

Could be tmj: You may have underlying TMJ problems. I recommend that you see your dentist.
