I'll say it again: I think I've already responded to you, but that's okay. There may be an SSRI or SSNRI that will work for you w/out bad side effects, but it gets slimmer each time you try one and fail. Definitely have medical guidance as you sample them - it can be risky to stop and start over and over. Like I say to most... Consider good fit CBT therapy. Find one you trust and work at it. Best!

Work with your MD: If Lexapro (escitalopram) and Zoloft seem to have "stopped working," it may be that you would benefit from a mood stabilizer. There are several medications used in this way, and they work in conjunction with the SSRIs. Consult a psychiatrist for medication management.

All the same: all SSri's pretty much work the same. Not much of a difference in efficacy or side effects between them. I like using atypical antipsychotics for severe anxiety, like abilify (aripiprazole). Don't have much luck with SSRI's to be honest with you.

Therapy may help: Anxiety has biological roots, but are stimulated through psychological perceptions. Consider adding therapy to your medication and see either a talk therapist or a biofeedback therapist who can help you with evidence based biological interventions in addition to medicine.
