Try adding a picture: This sounds like the "mother" or "Sentinal" lesion of Pityriasis Rosea a dermatological condition possibly viral in nature. If a rash develops over your body this diagnosis more likely. Otherwise a number of fungal/ bacterial infections are possible Hope this helps Dr Z
