Ask your physician: The medical drug interaction database ePocrates shows no reported interactions between Wellbutrin (bupropion) and 5-Hydroxytryptophan. Although 5-HTP is available without a prescription in the U.S. it is prescribed for depression by physicians in some European countries. Definitely consult with your prescribing physician before starting new medication or supplements to make sure they are appropriate for you
