A member asked:

What is chipotle anyway? does it have any health benefits?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chipotle: Chilpotle, which comes from the Nahuatl word chilpoctli (meaning "smoked chili"), is a smoke-dried jalapeño. It is a chili used primarily in Mexican and Mexican-inspired cuisines, such as Mexican-American and Tex-Mex. Of course it has some nutritional value, but more in the addition of taste and spice to Mexican dishes.
