If you mean day 3 of extraction, than wait till area heals and closes up. If you mean erupting than you want to keep area clean so food doesn't collect in a pocket between your second molar and wisdom tooth. Eat what you want but flush out area and brush after eating.

If so, follow them to the letter. If not, call your Surgeon for personalized advice. In general, 3 days may be a bit early. Extraction site probably not healed enough. Did Surgeon talk to you about soft diet?
