LONG time: The worsen the erosive gastritis is , the longer it may take to heal sometimes several weeks. And then to prevent them from recurrence may be on Omeprazole daily for pretty long time if not daily from there on, specially is there is added tobacco, citrics, NSAIDS, caffeine or other substances that irritate the gastric mucosa. Avoid all this irritants and continue using the medicine and follow up.
