Time fro consultatn: Asthma is often manageable when you work with a doc who can tailor your medications to your needs. This may require that you use a home peak flow meter and chart daily levels. It will mean modifying your medications based on these or other factors. Write down what you are doing now and what and when your symptoms are occurring and take that in for your next visit.

See allergist: If you have allergic asthma, avoidance of the allergen triggers would be the first thing you need to do. If you are already on controller drugs, then your problem is called refractory asthma. You need to consult an allergist ASAP.
