Continue to monitor: Pain is not the same thing as weakness, but pain could lead to weakness. Continue to monitor the symptoms, and if they worsen (skin discoloration, true weakness, worsening pain) or persist, see your primary care physician. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003206.htm

Nerve pain?: Sometimes there can be nerve pain at a blood draw site. It normally heals after 1-2 weeks, sometimes a little longer. It may help to prevent trauma to this area, treat with a warm compress (wash cloth, warm water bottle) a couple times per day, and avoid blood draws to that site until it feels better.
