Depends: All states and the federal government have rules about how long prescriptions are good. It also depends on what the drug is. Usually a year for non-controlled substances. (but Ohio does not say how long) If you are in Gehofen, Germany probably has its own rules. Controlled substances are much pickier, and it depends on the drug and that state and the Federal guidelines.
