Uveitis=pain: Uveitis usually is associated with significant pain not just redness. If you saw an ophthalmologist and they performed a complete exam of your eye they should have been able to see the other findings of uveitis. More common causes of redness that has been going on for several months are allergic reactions, dust exposure, sun exposure, and lack of sleep.
