Gabapentin vs Lyrica (pregabalin): In 2007, pregabalin was received FDA approval for the management of fibromyalgia. Lyrica is not metabolized in the liver and is excreted through the kidney essentially unchanged and have no significant drug interactions. Following your doctor's advice about treatment is probably the best thing you can do.

Experience: Lyrica (pregabalin) is easier to titrate, has fewer adverse rxtns c/w gabopentin, and is more therapeutically efficacious with more flexible dosing. I think you will be satisfied
