Many symptoms...: If bitten by a deer tick one should watch carefully for symptoms. Look for a bulls-eye rash- if you have this you have lyme, but it only happens half the time. Other early symptoms are mild flu-like symptoms (headache. Aches, mild fever), then joint pains, fatigue, problems with memory & concentration and virtually any symptom in the world. Deer ticks may spread ehrlichia, babesia, bartonella etc.

See below: Symptoms depend on the stage of the illness which include: early localized, early disseminated, and late disease. Early presenting symptoms can include (in decreasing percentage): rash (erythema migrans), arthritis, facial palsy (bells palsy), aseptic meningitis, and carditis. Early disseminated: multiple rashes, cranial nerve palsies, meningitis, carditis. Late disease: arthritis mostly.
