A member asked:

Ekg shows pvcs. chest xr normal. what is causing chronic chest pain and sob upon exertion? pain goes into back. worse when laying flat or activity.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unknown: PVCs don't hurt & everyone has some. Normal CXR doesn't explain your pain. I see you had a stress test and EGD for eval & all that was abn was your duodenum. A duodenal ulcer could cause chronic pain, even going into the back. I would pursue that. A trial of a PPI like Prilosec may provide great relief - I note that you "don't take any medicines." Perhaps you should reconsider? Gastroenterologist?
