Should broken blood vessels in the hand be taken serious if you have cirrhosis of the liver ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cirrhosis: People with liver disease may get easy bruising, and 'broken vessels' or spider angiomas. Some patients can get a low platelet count and get small red 'spot' on legs called petechiae. The 'broken vessels' can be a sign of liver disease but are not harmful. However, patients with cirrhosis should be follow closely by a physician .
