Not at 32: Symptoms of perimenopause would include skipping or stopping periods. in your case your periods are coming regularly but lasting 2 days longer than normal. This is not consistent with perimenopause. There are many options to help with long periods. Schedule a visit with an Obgyn and discuss your options

Longer periods: Abnormalities of your menstrual cycle can be caused by a number factors. Metabolic causes such as thyroid disease, diabetes and menopause are easy to screen with a thorough history, physical exam, and blood work. Anatomic causes exist as well such as uterine polyps, uterine fibroids and endometrial hyperplasia. An endometrial biopsy along with a pelvic ultrasound are useful diagnostic tools.
