Likely not infected: If you are not having symptoms that include burning with urination, discharge from your urethra, fever, chills etc and you had a negative chlamydia test 12 days after your sexual exposure it is unlikely you are infected and need a retest. If you are having any of those symptoms you need to go to your primary care physician to get retested and treated. Always use condoms to protect from STDs.

Std test for gohnorrhea and chlamydia came back negative from quest. I had already been taking doxycycline for 3 days prior testing. Could this cause a false negative? Should I retest for these two? Bloodwork was negative for all other stds?
