Yes, but: Not to worry. The increase in eye pressure will be small and temporary. Do see your eye MD for baseline exam including eye pressure, examination of the optic nerve and its cup to disc ratio, and a visual field test to measure your peripheral vision. Future exams each six months will compare to the baseline exam. Loss of optic nerve tissue or peripheral vision will require treatment.
