A member asked:

Is there a way i can stop my pupils from dilating when i take adderall? seems i might have early onset glaucoma symptoms. adderall increases eye pressure because it dilates the pupils. anyway to stop this side effect of this medication ?

There seems to be some misunderstanding. Dilated pupils does not cause elevated eye pressure in most individuals. If you have anatomically narrow angles, a potentially glaucoma inducing situation, then dilating the pupil may elevate the eye pressure. At 19 this is unlikely unless you are extremely farsighted. Your ophthalmologist can evaluate and treat narrow angles.
