If he has symptoms: Stress testing is not a good screening test for coronary disease because a negative test doesn't predict what will happen tomorrow. If he has symptoms, stress testing is indicated to evaluate them. It's also useful prior to beginning an exercise program.

Diabetes screening.: Adults with high blood pressure should be screened for diabetes. This may already have been done, so ask his doctor. If not done, it should be. Otherwise, it seems like his conditions are under good control.

Yes.: Ideally, with his risk factor profile, we should know his blood sugar and hsCRP. Depending on his age (>45) a stress test might also be wise.
