High bp: You have your answer. You've already had hi BP readings, you love food which is bad for you, despite already having high cholesterol, and you have a positive family history. Many studies show that you not only have the environmental (ie, you acquire habits of your parents) but also the genetic predisposition for the diseases mentioned. The studies also show you may already have the diseases.

Bp, post strep gn: Your BP values are fluctuating, which can be a normal variation; but your medical history indicates risk factors for high bp -- post strep GN is one; high cholesterol is a second; eating fatty and high salt foods are risks; having arterial disease is a risk for high BP too - and your heart is burdened further by high BP readings; - family history is important --- risks are high
