Leg pain and cancer: When somebody with cancer experience leg pain- first thing you need to rule out is venous blood clot on the leg. In cancer, the risk for blood clot is significantly elevated. It is important to diagnose blood clot on the leg as blood clots can beak off and travel to lung causing pulmonary emboli- which could be life threatening. Bone metastasis, arthritis, drug like Neupogen can cause leg pain.
