A member asked:

My grandmother is 83 she has cancer of the blood and now has blood clots in her legs. what can we do to save her any type of answer would be great.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be there to love her: Blood clots in the legs are often manageable with anticoagulants, and blood cancers in older folks are often very tame -- for example, many chronic lymphocytic leukemias stay harmless for decades. It's ultimately her choice as to how aggressively her illnesses are managed. Ignore all "pop" advice; if you see "natural healing" as adjuncts use an evidence-based practitioner.
