Should not have pus: Call the doc who did her sugery immediately as most likely she has an infection and will need antibiotics but am sure that doc will want to see her to examine her and determine what she needs so call that doc now.

Infection: That sounds like a post operative infection. See the physician who performed the surgery- most likely she needs wound care or possibly removing the sutures and letting it heal from inside out. Possibly she will need an antibiotic. See her physician asap.
