Gerd and lpr for 5 years. how do i know if gastric content are getting into my lungs. also, once the issue is resolved, will i breathe easier?

Need more tests: The best test for LPR currently is an impedance test done in a gastroenterologists office. Additionaly a new saliva test which checks for a gastric enzyme called pepsin may be available soon. Medicines will not be as effective as an antireflux surgery for symptoms of lpr. Usually after antireflux procedure your pulmonary symptoms will resolve
