Bronchospasm...: Bronchospasm can happen as a result of GERD. Usually, this gets better with treatment of the GERD. If it is very uncomfortable, your doctor can prescribe a bronchodilator inhaler that will help until the GERD symptoms are under control. If your shortness of breath becomes severe, go to the nearest ER. Good luck!!!
