Not necessarily: The symptoms you describe would not indicate having barret's. Those symptoms may be a result of reflux and reflux is associated with barret's. But, barret's esophagus is an asymptomatic change in the lining of the esophagus. Barret's is not diagnosed based on symptoms. The symptoms described are important and should be discussed with your physician.
