Need an exam : Generally if you're experiencing worsening symptoms at day 3 following a tooth extraction, you should follow up with your providing surgeon to make sure you are not having any post operative complications like a dry socket. You should especially call or see your doctor if you develop a fever. It's also important to follow instructions your doctor gave you following the procedure. Best of luck.
