How long ?: How long ago were your wisdom teeth extracted ? If it's the first few days, it's to be expected. Pain meds should alleviate most of your symptoms. If it has been longer than a few days, consult with your surgeon.

It isn't unusual: As the extraction socket heals, the pain and symptoms should subside including the ear pain and painful swallowing.
