Too early: I think the beta HCG is encouraging, and it's just a little too early to make a diagnosis with an 'empty' gestational sac. If you do not miscarry in the next few weeks, talk this over with your OB and see what they think about next steps, this could easily be a normal pregnancy if you have not had any vaginal bleeding

HCG: the HCG could be in the nl range for your dates and a fetal pole is not always seen at 5 weeks have hope and repeat studies in a couple weeks
