Gallbladder: An ultrasound can be suggestive of inflammation of the bile duct, sludge or stones in the gallbladder, or other anatomic abnormalities. All studies should be done based on symptoms and blood tests - this gives you the whole picture of what is going on. A CT scan may be helpful as well.
