I have been on elavil (amitriptyline) for a year or so, starting out at 25 and tapering to 10, which i have been on for 6 months or so. if i get off can i restart?

Yes: 10 mg of Elavil (amitriptyline) is a very low dose. That could be a starting dose at your age. However, I do not recommend that you make changes in your medications without consulting the MD who prescribed it.
