A member asked:

Should i see a gynecologist and a general practitioner for postmenopausal bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gynecologist: If you are experiencing vaginal bleeding after menopause, that is not normal. You should see a doctor soon, preferably your gynecologist. He or she can do a pelvic exam to determine the source of bleeding and also perform a biopsy in the office if necessary.
