Won't help: Decongestants are just as "drying" as the anti-histamines. Try getting some artificial tears to use while on the medication.

Try nasal steroid: You'd be better off with a nasal steroid which may take a few days to be truly effective. Loratadine does not relieve nasal congestion and thus of little use in sinus infection.
