Decongestant?: Although antihistamine dries up the nose, decongestant does not. If the decongestant action is needed for just a few days, you may try Afrin nasal spray 2x daily for up to 5 days. A nasal steroid will likely work better if you have allergies.

Possibly: Sinoclear is primarily salt water. However it also has some sulfur, magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron, selenium, zinc and copper. I know salt saline would help and this is essentially what Sinoclear is. I see no reason not to try.
