Yes: It is normal at 39 weeks. Make sure she is drinking fluids. If her contractions become regular or her water breaks, she needs to get in right away. If she has not been seen recently, it would be a good idea to get her cervix checked. It is also important to make sure the baby is moving - if not, get in right away.
