Pregnancy, cramps : Mild cramps can be felt in some pregnancies that is inconsequential. No effects. But to air on the side of safety. See your doctor for exam and to check your urine and cervical length once those are ok. And fetus is ok. Then no worries

Timing is everything: Those are probably Braxton Hicks contractions getting ready for the real event of future labor. You will know when the contractions are serious, when they are timed with increasing intensity and frequency of 5 minutes apart or less.
