Probably not: First: don't clean the inside of your ear canal with a Q-tip! They should only be used to clean the outer/visible part of your ear itself. Putting a Q-tip inside the ear canal can force wax and dirt/debris deeper into the canal and can lead to impaction (a plug) of the ear canal wax (cerumen). Also, the Q-tip can injure the wall of the canal and can cause some minor bleeding like you had.
