See your neurologist: Are you on a dopamine agonsist (ropinirole, pramipexole) for RLS? The side effects of opioids (Vicodin) tend to be constipation, dizziness, falls, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes loss of efficacy over time. See a neurologist for management of RLS. http://www.rls.org/document.doc?id=2204

Restless legs: syndrome and PLMD are treated with dopamine agonists such as ropinirole (approved in RLS) or pramipexole. If tests reveal that iron levels are low iron supplementation may be prescribed. Opioids and muscle relaxants are also a viable option. See a sleep specialist for RLS management.
