Blood sugar level is below 60 for more than 20 hours even after consuming sugar?

? symptoms: Finger stick sugar readings are not accurate in blood glucose at the lower range of normal. If asymptomatic with the low readings there will be no further action needed, however if symptomatic I would suggest a 5 hour glucose tolerance test to establish 1- peak sugar after glucose intake 2- lowest level of blood glucose 3- timing of the symptoms in relation to glucose intake .
