Some people do get reactive hypoglycemia after eating concentrated sweets but you haven't documented that you experience it. Your sugar spikes up, your body releases insulin to lower the blood sugar but it keeps dropping & goes too low after a few hours. If you do have reactive hypoglycemia, the treatment is avoidance of concentrated sweets. Starches aren't as much of a problem, though.
