Possibly: if the edge of your trays are rough, they can be irritating the edge of your tongue. If so, see your Dentist or Orthodontic Specialist for an adjustment. In any event have any white anomalies in the mouth examined by your Dentist at once.

Likely irritation: from your trays. I would see your orthodontist about potentially trimming the trays to reduce irritation. If the issue is something more serious, they'll be able to see that as well and can send you to a dentist (if there is some greater dental issue at hand).

Take a break: Give yourself a day or two off from your lower aligner. In the mean while check to see if there is a rough edge on the tongue side of the lower. You might be able to smooth it with super fine sandpaper. If this doesn't help, call your dentist.

Nothing to worry: Some individuals develop a white coating on the tongue during invisalign treatment which is basically just a layer of dead cells. This simply requires daily scraping to remove it and can be accomplished without any discomfort and in a short period of time.

Irritation causes it: Usually, white line around the tongue is caused by chronic irritation. that could be due to your invisalign trays or your bite. next time you see your dentist or orthodontist, show it to them to rule out any other possibilities.

White line on tongue: Sometimes, the white line on your tongue may be associated with a light brushing of the alinger trays with your tongue. If its rough, have your orthodontic specialist smooth out the tray.
