Of course: After taking an acid food or drink, rinsing your mouth with water or a fluoride mouthwash can help clear up the acid quicker. It helps protect both the teeth and gums.

Better to brush: Brush your teeth and gums to remove the acid liquid (cola) and residual chocolate from your teeth. Use a fluoride containing toothpaste.
