Surgery: Having surgery is at best still a risk, With having sleep apnea and GERD it increases the risk and being very obese can not only magnify these risk but make being put to sleep and ventilated very difficult. Talk with your Dr to what weight you need to be to safely have surgery. I understand I have many of these same problems and have had to have surgery & know what can happen Good Luck
