I had my left lower wisdom tooth pulled two days ago. the clot seems to have disappeared but i have no pain. is a dry socket in my future in next few days? what can i do now to prevent dry socket?

Not necessarily: Even now it might not hurt to hold wet gauze on your socket. Best to avoid sucking on a straw, and vigorous rinsing. Your dentist is your best source for an answer.

Dry socket: No smoking, no spitting. Irrigate with saline. Not likely to develop into dry socket.
