Talk to the: prescribing physician before making any change in medication. Both can be taken together, but this is unusual. The risk of developing of Parkinsonism increase with doses of Risperdal greater than 3 mg (it used to be thought that this occurred above 6 mg) Akathesia and increased risk of cerebrovascular disease can occur.
